I am an actor, writer, creator, innovator, and collaborator currently living in Los Angeles. I am a lover of language; from the classical brilliance of Shakespeare, the earthy undertones of Zora Neale Hurston, the quick wit of Aaron Sorkin, to the strength of street knowledge demonstrated in the  lyrical calculus of Black Thought. Voices like theirs are the fuel that feeds my passion to create. I believes that art can make us laugh, it can make us cry, it can make us see the truth of ourselves… and through these gifts, help us create change. I received my MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre, and hold a BFA in Drama from West Virginia University. I bake a mean cheesecake, cook a pot of seafood gumbo that'll make you miss your mama, and I used to be a gamer until The Last Of Us came along and made me judge all other games against it.

From the Screen to the Stage, these are some of my favorite credits:

Baskets, How to Get Away with Murder, I'm Dying Up Here, American Nightmares (directed by Rusty Cundieff & Darin Scott), Criminal Minds, and The Young & The Restless, Salif in Our Very Own Carlin McCullough (dir. by Tyne Rafaeli at Geffen Playhouse), Reggie in Skeleton Crew ( dir. by Patricia McGregor at Studio Theater), Caesar in Gem of the Ocean (Marin Theater Company), Ben Pettus in American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose (California Shakespeare Theatre), and George Murchison in A Raisin in the Sun (dir. by Israel Hicks at Denver Center for the Performing Arts).
